ARRIVING BY AIR |
For the Washington Market, Reagan/National is the closest Airport (less than 30 minutes to downtown), however, Dulles is an equally fine choice for arrival by air (less than an hour to downtown).
For the Baltimore/Maryland market, Baltimore-Washington International (BWI) is by far the best choice. It’s 20 minutes to downtown Baltimore, 20 minutes to the Bacchus/Office & Warehouse, and 30 minutes to Annapolis. BWI airport is also convenient if you are working the Washington market, as it’s about a 45-minute drive to downtown DC. However, neither Regan nor Dulles is very convenient if you are working in Baltimore.
For the Wilmington/Delaware market, Philadelphia airport is closest, about 30 minutes to downtown. However, it is North of Wilmington, and therefore further away from both Maryland & Washington, and extremely inconvenient if working those areas.

ARRIVING BY TRAIN
Both Long Distance and Regional |
Amtrak trains run frequently between Washington, Baltimore & Wilmington and the other east coast cities of Philadelphia, New York and Boston. They can be a convenient alternative to air travel as they drop you right downtown.
However, if you are traveling between Baltimore and Washington, do not take Amtrak. Rather take the local commuter MARC trains on the Penn Line. These trains run extremely often and are 1/3 the cost of Amtrak. Unfortunately, there are no commuter trains between Baltimore & Wilmington, so Amtrak is the only choice. And there is no good public transportation to Annapolis from anywhere, so a car is a necessity.

ARRIVING BY CAR |
It is possible to work the local markets in Wilmington, Baltimore and Washington without the need of a rental car. The sales person, with whom you are working, could meet you at your hotel or at the train station, and you could ride with them in style (well, maybe). You can even be “carless” and work all of these markets in one trip by taking the trains mentioned above between cities. However, if you would like to work in Annapolis or other parts of Maryland or Delaware, it is necessary to have your own car. |
CONTACTING OUR STAFF |
Before your work date, you should make plans with the sales person/people involved as to where and when you will meet. Our sales staff may contact you to set-up these arrangements, but please in turn feel free to reach out to them also. In either case, it is up to the people involved to confirm their own plans. Here is a list of our sales team members and their cell phones for your convenience: |

ACCOMMODATIONS |
You are responsible for your own accommodations. If you have a preferred hotel chain you like to patronize, by all means check out availability with them first. Most of the chains have multiple locations in our market. In order to get a good start on the morning of your work date, it would be best to have spent the night-before in the city where you are working. Doing a web search will probably give you the best buys, but here are some of our suggestions that take into account support of our local customers and convenience. |

-
Abacrombie
is a fine, small bed & breakfast, whose excellent

are a few blocks walk to Penn Station.
-
Also
near the train station and a convenient walk to many of
our downtown restaurant customers is The
Peabody Court.

You need a car to get to Annapolis, but once there, the town is great for walking. Two good choices that put you near the majority of our downtown customers are: Loews Annapolis Hotel and the Calvert House, one of the Historic Inns of Annapolis.

And south of town off I-95 on the way to Baltimore & Washington is a Red Roof Inn
