The Reisetbauer family has been living in Axberg since
1956. During this time span the economic focus changed
several times, transforming the former traditional farm
into one of the Austria's most modern distilleries. Hans
Reisetbauer, sen. and his wife Elfriede started planting
fruit trees more than 25 years ago. Today the the farm
includes 12 hectares of fruit orchards which supply part
of the raw material needed for distillation. The remaining
part of the fruit needed, however, is bought – exclusively
from top-quality producers, of course. The fruitful result
of Hans Reisetbauer’s work: A range of authentic
distillates and brandies devoid of any frills, with a
sincere expression of fruit, well-balanced as well as
enjoyable and agreeable.
